Los Aguilar Sinfónico Desde El Hollywood Bowl

Enrico Lopez-Yañez conducts Pepe Aguilar, Ángela Aguilar, and Leonardo Aguilar in this spectacular symphonic celebration at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. Serving as conductor and orchestrator for Los Aguilar Sinfónico Desde El Hollywood Bowl, Lopez-Yañez brings the Aguilar family’s celebrated Mexican musical legacy to the concert stage through a dynamic fusion of mariachi, traditional Mexican music, and full symphonic orchestra.

The landmark recording earned widespread recognition, including a fan-voted Best New Latin Music honor from Billboard readers, who selected Los Aguilar Sinfónico as their favorite new Latin release of the week. The performance further showcases Lopez-Yañez’s reputation as one of the leading conductors working across orchestral, Latin, and contemporary popular music, following collaborations with artists including Pepe Aguilar, Ángela Aguilar, Leonardo Aguilar, Aida Cuevas, Lila Downs, and Arturo Sandoval.

Karen LeFrak — Romántico

Romántico is a vibrant celebration of Latin American musical traditions through the contemporary voice of composer Karen LeFrak. Featuring lush orchestral textures, evocative melodies, and the passion and rhythmic vitality of Latin music, the album brings together classical artistry and the rich musical heritage of the Spanish-speaking world.

Enrico Lopez-Yañez conducts the recording, bringing his distinctive energy and orchestral sensibility to LeFrak’s music. The project reflects his ongoing commitment to championing new music and creating compelling connections between the symphonic tradition and the diverse musical cultures of the Americas.

Cody Fry — “Photograph” - National Symphony 

Cody Fry performs his acclaimed song “Photograph” with the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of Declassified: Ben Folds Presents. In this groundbreaking concert series, Artistic Advisor Ben Folds brings together artists from across musical genres, reimagining contemporary music through the power and color of the symphony orchestra. Fry wrote, orchestrated, and performed “Photograph,” with Enrico Lopez-Yañez conducting the National Symphony Orchestra.

 

The performance captures Lopez-Yañez’s versatility as a conductor and his ability to bridge contemporary and classical music, bringing a dynamic orchestral perspective to Fry’s meticulously crafted arrangement. The result is a powerful meeting of singer-songwriter artistry and symphonic sound on one of the nation’s most prestigious stages.

Ben Folds — “Kristine from the 7th Grade”

Ben Folds premieres “Kristine From the 7th Grade” with the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of Declassified: Ben Folds Presents. Composed and performed by Folds and arranged for orchestra by Jherek Bischoff, the performance transforms Folds’ distinctive singer-songwriter style into a richly orchestrated symphonic experience. Enrico Lopez-Yañez conducts the National Symphony Orchestra, bringing energy, precision, and a dynamic sense of collaboration to the premiere.

Part of the Kennedy Center’s Declassified series, the concert reflects Ben Folds’ mission to break down barriers between musical genres by pairing contemporary artists with the symphonic tradition. The performance offers a compelling example of Lopez-Yañez’s versatility and his ability to bring contemporary music to life through the orchestra.
